Apple Passwords verification codes

Use a code saved in Apple Passwords to avoid switching to your authenticator app. Your iPhone may offer AutoFill after Face ID or your screen lock. This is code verification, separate from your login passkey.

If your current code is already in Apple Passwords, use that existing code. No new setup is needed.

My current recovery code remains available in a separate authenticator app. I will keep that entry untouched.

Finish code setup

On iPhone, try touching and holding this QR code, then choose Add Verification in Passwords. You can also scan it from another screen. Keep your original authenticator app entry.

Manual setup key

Enter this key in the Foundation entry in Apple Passwords. Do not email, share or screenshot it.

In iPhone Settings → General → AutoFill & Passwords, enable Apple Passwords. In Chrome, tap the code field and choose the code suggestion. If none appears, copy the code from Apple Passwords.
